Logan Williams – camera op / assistant camera / assistant director

Logan Williams is a filmmaker and writer from Sacramento, CA with a M.F.A. in film production from Loyola Marymount University in Southern California.  Logan’s passion for film making far exceeds simple words.  He has made it his career, his life.

“What is film to me?  Film is that which I cannot make real, seem real.  Altogether one might say that film overall is a lie, a compromise that states something.  In that statement then I want to find and reveal a truth that I would be otherwise unable to do in this thing we call life.”  – Logan Williams

Having gained immense experience while living in Los Angeles for close to a decade, Logan has worked on many film and video projects, many being his own short films.  He takes great pride in his film making, not sparing any details.

This has been apparent to Fight 4 Your Life creator, Bryan Bachar since first meeting Logan in 2011:

“I met Logan when we joined up to do a 48 Hour Film contest in Sacramento.  Over the duration of that weekend I saw his passion for film making and his eye for detail.  He is a story teller, something I hold great value for, as you need to be one in order to be a solid filmmaker.  Since that project I’ve been fortunate to witness Logan continue to grow into the artist I could tell he was then.  Sky’s the limit for this dude!”

Logan has regularly aided one studios on projects over the years, whether video based or films.  In fact, he came up from Southern California way back in 2012  to help shoot the short film version of Fight 4 Your Life, which started everything.  We wish nothing but the best for this honorary member of the one studios crew.  And we thank him for all his hard work and dedication.  Get ’em Logan!

Check Logan out on IMDb, Vimeo, LinkedIn and Facebook.  Here’s one of Logan’s films one studios aided him on!

Raymond Park – sound design / sound FX / background music

Raymond, or Ray, is currently working as a sound effects editor / sound designer for film and he’s in love with every minute of it.  He’s also a huge cinephile, with some of his favorite directors being Andrei Tarkovsky, Carl Theodor Dreyer, Park Chan-Wook, The Coen Brothers and Lars von Trier (the list could go on forever).

Ray says of his love of sound,

“I love sound, especially within the boundless realms of storytelling.  From the most unintelligible crackling gibberish to the smoothest of melodious murmurs, I love it all.”

So passionate about his audio is Ray that he moved down to Los Angeles to follow his love.  There he works for Monkeyland Audio, while he also pursues work as a freelancer for sound projects ranging from sound effects creation/editing to composing to sound recording and more.

Ray first came to one studios back in 2011 when he joined forces with us for a short film we did for a 48 Hour Film Festival in Sacramento, CA.  Since then he has aided one studios on various projects as an honorary member of the one studios crew, including serving as sound effects artist/foley artist for the short film version of Fight 4 Your Life in 2012.

We are ecstatic to have Ray on board for more of his awesome audio abilities.  Give him a cup of Joe and he’s ready to go!  Yep, his skills are quite sound….he he.

Anyway, be sure to check in on Ray via IMDb, LinkedIn, Vimeo, Facebook or EmptyKingdom.com.  Trust us, he’s quite entertaining and has excellent taste!

DeMarco Davis

DeMarco Davis is on the high rise acting list.  Constantly on the grind, he has recently moved down to Los Angeles from the Sacramento, CA area to further pursue his craft.  You can see him in such film titles as Inner City Snow, I’m in Love with a Church Girl and Buster Jones: The Movie.  He’s also acted in episodes of I Almost Got Away with It, House of Lies and A&E’s Cold Case Files, which was the “Jaycee lee Dugard Case” episode.

This dedicated artist spent four years in military active duty before deciding to make acting his career.  His college education in telecommunication engineering carried over into the military, where he used such skills during his one year tour in Bosnia.  The armed forces were a great experience for DeMarco.  The discipline and character they help build are attributes easily transferable into any area in life.  The entertainment industry is no exception.

DeMarco was one of the first auditions we had for Fight 4 Your Life.  The one studios crew could immediately tell his professionalism and skill.  And we knew we needed him on board.  Director Bryan Bachar says more on Mr. Davis,

“DeMarco is the type of guy you can plainly see is a professional at what he does.  He’s not doing this part time or as a trial type of thing.  You can see it in his eyes his passion for acting.  He’s hungry.  And it is a pleasure to have him on Fight 4 Your Life.  He brings more to this production.  He makes directing simple.  I hope to work more with him in the future and provide him with even more challenging roles.  I’m sure he can appreciate a challenge, as any true actor would.”

Look for DeMarco in a key role in Fight 4 Your Life.  You can’t miss him!  And check him out on IMDb, Facebook and Twitter.  His new flick Bullets Blades and Blood, which also has our very own Tony “The Tiger” Lopez in it, is coming out soon too!

Tucker Evans

Tucker Evans was born in Los Angeles, Ca.  He later moved to Elk Grove, Ca, where he went to high school and played football at Elk Grove High.  After high school, he joined the Navy, which taught him discipline and allowed him to realize there was more out there for him.  He just had to make it happen.

After serving our country, Tucker entered the restaurant business working every position from busboy to owner.  He had been bitten by the acting bug early on in life, performing in plays and small independent comedy bits.  It was only natural that he then soon decided to try his hand at acting in front of the camera on the local Sacramento independent short film circuit.

Tucker has been in several film festivals since, having made the decision that this is what he wants to do with his life.  He continues to participate in and support local Sacramento independent films, such as Fight 4 Your Life.  He views F4YL as an exciting project about to take Nor Cal by storm.  We agree Mr. Evans, and are thrilled to have you and your dedication on board!
